Thank you for visiting the West Valley Chorus' web site. We rehearse Monday evenings, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

We are the Davis-Vacaville Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). Our chorus is: 

The WEST VALLEY CHORUS

Our forty-some active members reside in cities and towns of the Sacramento Valley, Northern California, USA. Those include Woodland, Davis, Dixon, Winters, Vacaville, Fairfield. Suisun, Rio Vista and Benicia. We meet in Dixon, a centrally located municipality.

The Davis-Vacaville Chapter was officially chartered in August 1998, when the Vacaville Showboat Chorus and the Davis-Woodland Highwheelers combined to consolidate barbershop harmony singing along the Interstate 80 corridor between Sacramento and San Francisco. Since then, we have become a vibrant, growing organization in the process of fulfilling our destiny; to bring Barbershop harmony to the entire West Sacramento Valley area. Come sing with us!

Directions to the United Methodist Church of Dixon - our new rehearsal venue:

From Vacaville area:

• I-80 to Dixon Avenue West (aka West A Street)
• Come into Dixon to the first stop light and turn left (north) on Adams Street.
• (Adams becomes Porter Street at this intersection and the sign says “Porter” with an arrow to the right – the south)
• Go one block north on Adams and turn right onto West B Street.
• One block on West B and you arrive at Jefferson.
• Methodist Church is on northwest corner. Ample parking is across the street next to the RR tracks.

From Davis area:

• I-80 to Dixon turn-off (which is North First Street to the south and Currey to the north)
• Go south over the freeway and continue in toward Dixon on North First Street.
• After the Ford agency and a couple of service stations, the road forks.
• Take the right fork onto North Adams Street.
• Continue on Adams Street about 8 -10 blocks to B Street.
• Left on B Street for one block to Jefferson.
• Methodist Church is on northwest corner. Ample parking is across the street next to the RR tracks.
